The original home of the "Super Bowl of Country Music" Jamboree in the Hills – 1977 to 1989

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Never could we have envisioned that some day, things would come full circle, and that the desire to return to a time of real country music entertainment presented in a family atmosphere, and offering value for your dollar, would be so vocally requested. That time has come.

Ever since the Jamboree in the Hills event was relocated to it’s present site, we’ve been besieged with requests to hold a similar event again here at the original site. Tens of thousands of people first experienced this legendary country music event here on these grounds. Their desire to return home again has become increasingly louder and more persuasive with each passing year.

We’ve been listening.

We are giving consideration to holding a real country music entertainment event back here where it all started. With each passing year, the voice of the fans has grown stronger in their request for a return to an event forged in the mold of the original. Real country music. A family-friendly atmosphere. Down-to-earth ticket and camping prices. A show about country music, not about “the party.”

In order to begin consideration of the possibility of doing it all over again, we need your input, suggestions, and comments. This is not an insignificant undertaking, and we need to have some good idea of the level of interest. We need your help.

Please send me an email at Lalderman@aol.com  In the email, we ask that you let us know your thoughts about the following :

  1. Who would you like to see on the lineup?

  2. Would you prefer a Friday evening and all day Saturday event…

Or a Saturday – Sunday event?

  1. Would you camp on the grounds if it were offered?

Any and all comments, suggestions, and input is welcomed.

Keep checking back here to monitor our progress. If you want to call or email us, please do so. We always love hearing from you.

Thank you to all those who’ve expressed interest and been so vocal about wanting to return to where is all began. You’ve certainly gotten our attention.
